We encourage travelers to take the train from Ljubljana to Kamnik, reducing emissions and embracing a sustainable journey. The train runs from Monday to Friday and until 4 PM on Saturdays. You can easily bring your bike on board, making your trip to Kamnik both convenient and green.

Lower Your Carbon Footprint

Train to Kamnik, Then Explore by Bike

Upon arriving at Kamnik’s train station, we’ll guide you on a cycling tour designed to minimize your carbon footprint. We also promote the use of recycled plastic bottles, which you can refill at water fountains or directly from the Kamniška Bistrica River. This program raises awareness about the importance of nature conservation, responsible waste management, and the preservation of water resources vital to our environment.

Embrace a Healthy Lifestyle

Green Mobility for You and Our Planet

Our program highlights the significance of natural water and green mobility within the town. We offer the option to rent electric bikes, scooters, and other eco-friendly vehicles, which helps reduce emissions and promotes a healthier lifestyle. Walking is another green mobility option, reducing your carbon footprint while benefiting your health. Our goal is to create a sustainable environment where visitors can explore Kamnik in an eco-friendly way, while also understanding the importance of preserving nature for future generations.
